Ok I'll do my best at this. You have ask a lot of questions and I don't have all the answers. But here I go.
1. T-checks
2. Detention pay is like layover. But you have to let your DM know when they are in. From what I have been paid is $65.00. So I am going to say $65.00.
3. Layover, breakdown is the same as detention.
4. T-check
5. Bridgestone tire for trl's only. Have to get with DM if you have a tire issue with the truck.
6. Transflow
7. Yes $300.00 bond fee
8. No but they will give you a racing hat
9. Not sure so can't answer
10. Same as 9
11. Yes $10.00 per extra stop
12. Yes mileage/mpg bonus both go together.
13. Don't know but they will get you box seats to the race if you are in the area and have time. You have to ask for them.
14. Yes
Ok that's the best I can do. Sorry couldn't answer everything.
Maybe you made a typo on your page, but u said 10.00 for extra stop. -
FYI I'm not bashing FRE. I don't work there haven't work there. Use to sit by them while they waited in Fort Morgan for 2 and 3 days with the rest of us. Don't know how they calculate detention if its the same as layover, don't really need to know. You guys run the same routes as I ran when I was with Raider Express. Kind of burned out on running up and down 287. Might be a good fit for me because it probably would get me thru the house more. The stop pay from what you posted was really a turn off for me. But since you say now its 20.00 Could be a plus. The miles u say are for 2200 to 2500 give or take. I get that here so making 4cpm less and 2cpm less then what I was making b4 I came to JBS. Really isn't worth it. Driving heavy trucks pulling meat with prob no prepass or ezpass @65mph or 68 with e logs.
Also I keep hearing you say you get paid more per mile, but don't use the word practical miles. I like it here been here over 2years. I like reading the FRE thread when there is action on it, but from what I see the miles are no different then what I'm getting. Like I said hope it works out for you both, and when you guys truly have numbers and what kinds of insurance you have. Please fill free to share. Have a good weekend. -
