Heck, he's got a D12 in that thing. A good tail wind and he would think he has gained power lol......

Oscar, did you mount it close to where the fuel goes right into motor or just off of the fuel filter?

I know you seen my pictures and when we moved mine.

Mine is mounted right after the filter, right where Ben told me to put it. If it does to the fuel what they say then in reallity it shouldn't matter if its six inches from the number one injector or on the return line. Once a molecule has been cracked or whatever, it can't rejoin to its other self can it?

Just a replacement. When I went to flats I knew this was not going to be a long term truck and decided not to put much in terms of upgrades. Plus last year I drove less than 70k miles and will likely do less than 60 this year. Until recently all the extra cash from this truck went to support growing my operation.

I actually threw my upgrade list away last week when doing taxes. I will not get the ROI when I sell this and with what little miles I drive.

2 bit, you may have not witnessed anything sinister from the driver fueling his truck twice. you fill one tank, get a receipt. then fill the other tank and get a receipt. you have 2 shower credits instead of one. i do it all the time.

and the others have run out of placebo pills and mileage went back to normal apparently.

    Dice1 and 2bit Thank this.

I'm at a 6.8 average on the week 2,450 miles and reverted back to my old bad habits of driving too fast several months ago. This truck has never run more than 500 or 600 miles with an average above 6.3 in the 340K miles I've driven it and I have the documentation on every fill up in that span. I'll take it whether it's due to eco taz or not. I am one with my truck, lol, and know every little aggravating and non-aggravating thing about it. I maintain it meticulously. You can take that for what it's worth and I'll keep taking my sugar pills. If you see no impact or your mileage is worse then ship it back and chalk it up to a bad experience...

ECOTAZ, do you have links to dyno results? Thanks.

DICE, have you tried any other products that have NOT worked for you? Have you tried fuel additives (other than 2 stroke oil) such as "fuel magic" or "magic plus"? I'm about to get new tires and I'm planning on getting michelins but I haven't decided on whether or not to make the jump to super singles. If I remember correctly you run them. If so do you like yours? Do they wear evenly and comparably to regular tires (miles before replacing)? Did you notice a gain in mpg? Thanks! Also, I've been reading your posts regarding mpg gains with great interest for months, thanks very much for all the info you've posted on this site!

Well, I would certainly call the device successful if it changes your driving habits such that you achieve improved fuel mileage. Even if it doesn't work as claimed, it still works! :)

Based on the range of fuel savings numbers claimed in the dyno tests, assuming fuel at $4.00 and base MPG at 6, I figured around 45,000 miles before the cost of the device is recovered, not counting installation costs.

I posted links to his dyno results earlier. Post #722 on page 73 of this thread.
