And considering that a lot of guys don't like to go west, I don't think schneider would have a problem sending you out here. Just a couple of days ago there was more freight then drivers up in the pacific northwest so I volunteered to take a couple extra loads before some home time.

I'm in cali a lot and don't really mind it as long as I'm north of the grape vine and out of san Francisco. LA area sucks but isn't too bad as long as your in and out before any traffic.

Of course some guys are on the west coast often .... if they live there, lol.

That doesn't mean drivers that live on the east coast will be out there whenever they want. From everything I've gathered the guys that live in the eastern half don't go ALL the time. Again, thats just been the consensus of the multiple drivers I have chatted with that live in the east. Could be they hadn't asked to go west, but since 2/3 of the population lives on the eastern 1/3 of the country I believe we know where most of the freight is going, lol.

Don't ask and you probably won't receive. Maybe, but not likely. Just sayin.

I agree! ... I like running out west too, that's why I've been chatting with as many drivers as possible. Trying to get a feel for what to expect.

By the way, I just moved from Clearwater less than a year ago. Good luck bro.

Kinda hard to get a west coast run when most of our freight that goes out there goes on rail... Just sayin

Seems like Texas is the best chance to go east to west and vice versa. Once you're west you stay out there, it's just generally kind of difficult to get there in the first place. Going east seems a bit easier, but again, west to east is also a lot of rail transportation
