Dot Physical Question - re: 1 year card

thanks everybody. nobody has really answered my first question: will it hurt me in getting a job?

i know there are moral reasons i shouldn't do it. and yes, i guess i was asking for valdation here. but something i don't get is this -- if i take the physcal and pass it and are given a 2 year card -- then i passed it.

but the only reason i'm even considering this is worrying about getting a job.

 

no? then i'm worrying for no reason?

i was seriously afraid that if a company has to choose between me and an equally qualified newbie with a full 2 year card that they would pick him.

 

here's my driving record:
5/24/10 - improper equipment speedometer (i was actually speeding 50 in a 35)
2/13/04 - speeding - 70 in a 55
5/14/01 - speeding - 50 in a 35
2/06/97 - speeding - 50 in a 35
11/22/91 - improper turn - no left turn sign.

so nothing in the last 7 years unless that equipment violation is a red flag.
