I am going to remove the unit next weekend and see how it goes. I will post all my findings and data as I go for 3 weeks without it installed.

I apologize to everyone, and mainly Ben for not being able to do a more side by side comparison. Tho I may take the truck to have a dyno run done since I want to see my HP numbers since the other modifications and it's a simple 5 min install so I can show you both HP readings with and without to see if there is any difference.

The Dynos run before were paid for by A food Distribution Company out of Houston with a Cat engine on a Peterbilt at Mustang Cat. Their findings were proof enough to do their fleet but they did not give me permission to use there test as a testimonial and the other was a Municipality on a Dump truck that was run by Grande Ford. The tests would not matter since you will twist them around to just see it your way.
Just like you keep going back to the Tests paid by the grant. I would not post them if they were not positive. If our product did not work we would not have SIGNIFICANTLY reduced emissions. That is why the state allowed us to put our rebuttle due to the fact that we proved the test protocol was not done to get the ultimate true results. The EPA does not allow changes on that test yet.
Another Dyno was run on a New Holland Diesel tractor. and was a positive test. It is obvious that nothing will satisfy you. If you don't like the positive results from the real world testing here, why do you keep coming back?
You done made your position clear. You can run your own Dyno and prove me wrong. Then again you might find out you are wrong. It's only 5 grand go for it.
Do you think the guys that got positive results here are going to care about your Dyno tests???
Then if I do another Dyno test you would say: Well who ran it? whos truck did they Use?? Is he related to them ????
    on and on and on.

Thanks HSC but NO Apology is needed. You do not have to prove anything to anyone but yourself. If your happy and it works for you and you are putting extra cash in your pocket that is all that matters. Non of the scientist here are contributing to paying for your fuel. I welcome your honesty anytime and your testing is encouraged.
Please let Windsmith know that we are not related in any way. lol

Again your numbers are just figures in your head and Labratory studies you may have read. The testers here are doing Real World Testing. They don't care about Dynos, lab reports and protocols. They only care about what Diesel is costing them today. If they can save $400.00 monthly and prove it to themselve with EXTRA cash in their pockets, everyone elses opinion does not matter.

Being involved with race cars for over 30 years I will say dyno numbers are easily manipulated and by different operators and no 2 dynos will get the same exact results. They give a baseline and that's about it.

I've had motors show awesome numbers on the dyno that were dogs on the track.

Also had ones that were so so on the dyno that ran like a scolded dog.
all I can say is the people that hide behind the keyboard while trying to discredit something by the way it looks compared to another product without actually having first hand experience with the product looks like a fool.

Enough people on here have it installed and say it works for them. If it doesn't work for you you get your money back no harm no foul.....seems pretty simple to me. But buy essentially calling the owner operators that say it works for them liars make you look like nothing but a keyboard agitator.

Hi Ben I have been reading since the very beginning and have been temped to call and order one of the ECOTAZ, I drive very similar loads every day, same tonnage, same traffic pattern at the end of the day I might drive few more miles on one load than the other, I live in the Florida Keys where is flat and mostly protected from wind with the vegetation around the only highway that I drive US-1, I have been doing the same loads twice a day for years and years, I watch my fuel mileage like very few people do, I get fuel at the same place all the time from the only pump they have, I even write down fuel temperature and ambient temp on every fuel up, my friends think I'm nuts, and they may be right, but I know what I'm doing, I fuel up early in the morning to get as cool fuel as possible, my truck as a fuel cooler and it's going to get another one on the return line, oh I almost forgot, no trailer, is a dump truck with a 3406 E 13 spd and 370 rears with 12 R 22.5 four axle truck.

But is the following paragraph that keeps me from making the phone call to order the ECOTAZ, is the sales pitch that I hate and I'm sure many more do, if one of your customer gets .4 better than before, please don't go and figure the percentage and how much he will save in a year, we may be truck drivers but we know how to figure our mileage and percentage, some of us have a degree or two on an specific matter, I even know one that was a successful attorney but driving an 18 wheeler is his passion, to me is like you want to lure the idiots with your sales pitch, but let me tell you, I have know a few that are not the smarter tool in the shed but still run a successful trucking business which is hard enough already, if ECOTAZ is so good let the product speak for it self and maybe I'll go ahead and make the phone call and see for my self if it works or not.
note: No hate here I'm just another trucker trying to save a buck like every body else, but I hate used car salesman.

Oh my wifenever buys at wallmart since we don't have any around here and we would not buy at wallmart even if they put one around the corner.

Thank You for your comments and suggestion. Way back many posts ago this same discussion was had and a couple of O/O's said they like the breakdown since it keeps them from having to reach for the calculator to do the math for the ROI. I also post the numbers because as I stop at Truckstops in different areas I am asked by the Operators these questions and I post it for their benefit. I understand that There are drivers from all walks here with High degrees of educationand some with Phd's that are now drivers but I also know some do not. So it is like teaching a class of students, you can't leave anyone behind.
However I will not be posting as much since we are setting up distribution in several areas in the U.S. with Truck and Automotive Dealers here in the US, and in South America, Columbia, the Caribbean, Greece and Cyprus, New Zealand and Australia.
I will not have a lot of time to post here, but I will be available to help anyone.
Again I thank you and do not mean to offend anyone.

If you do this I predict many will not be satisfied and the debate will continue. Already have seen comments that a dyno cannot be trusted so that's a sure fallback :-D The thread will maybe slow down - we might even forget it - and then some newbie will come along posting up snakeoil comments and here we go again. :-D
