US Xpress or Averitt Express??

LOL once you go Auto Shift you dont wanna go back at least thats how i feel.. No more clutching, no more pain in my leg from traffic i love my 2 peddle truck 1 gas 1 break, runs great and less hassle... thats just my opinion

 

Are the autoshifts as reliable as manuals? Also are they mostly all 10 spds? They have to be better in heavy traffic jams. That can kill your poor ol' left leg.

 

I think so, in my experience with this company Freightliner makes the most reliable autoshift, but I haven't had any problems yet with my peterbuilt, you can set the cruse control in these trucks just like a car and they will downshift and upshift without stopping cruse control

Yes the entire fleet is 10 speed, i have only seen 2 trucks and they were on a special account that were 13 speed autoshift...

 

drove 4 usx 7 mo loved the miles 2900-4200 weekly solo loved dispatcher ,but stayed out 5 to 6 weeks at a time can take riders along 10+yrs old! drove newer volvo 07 at the time auto only brokedown once, made 42,000 ,pet policy, bonuses paid out 3,000 2 me tax free left 4 promised dedicated run 4 jb hunt they lied wish i still had job at usx, hope this helps good luck and enjoy the open r oad
