Does anybody out there keep their truck at a truckstop while on hometime? I know Roehl says it needs to be parked in a safe and secure place. Just trying to figure out what I'm gonna do after I'm finished with the trainer..
Any Questions about Roehl??

Other possibilities are self storage lots, behind big box stores and small trucking companies. I actually found a small trucking company a mile from my house. I pay him $40 a month to park which seems high, but I'm home every weekend. Plus the place is well lit.Coronaz97 Thanks this. -
I've got two well lit truck stops nearby so I'm gonna see if that'll work. Thanks for the advice.

My application was accepted and I was offered a job. Now I just need to complete school and I am off to Phoenix. Hope going flatbed was the smart route for a newbie. I don't need to be home every week, but that is what they offered me with western regional. It appears that out of the many starter companies this one had their stuff together, far exceeding my expectations. Their response to my questions and paperwork was nearly instant. I also like that they completed all of the necessary paperwork prior to me heading off to orientation. I did not want to engage in any funny business upon arrival. I have read what to expect, but I am not entirely sure. I hope this all works out as I have not applied to any other companies.
