I believe it was Wednesday night. I did not do any socializing. Went in took my shower and then ate and watched tv in the truck.
Did not want to listen to a bunch of bs if you know what I mean....lol:biggrin_25513:

I think somebody hates me. I was in Ghent twice this week. The most recent was yesterday. I have 4 drops in Houston Tuesday and because of the sizes of the plates I'll be zig zagging back and forth across the city. I just got home this afternoon.

    Welcome to all the newbies.

Well if you're in the Pittsburgh area let me know I'll try and help you. This city does blow because if you ask me Pittsburgh is about 30 years still in past as far as our roads go.

Yeah, Ghent is no picnic! My very first work assignment - MY VERY FIRST ONE!- was a three stop going to Tulsa area. They gave me 1 E2Side coil, 2 shotgun coils, and three huge heavy sheets of steel. I posted a picture of it in my profile. HA! It took me my ENTIRE CLOCK plus a few hours to get done with it and it looked like crap! HA! I must have quit sixteen times that night! What a welcome present that day was..... I was BRAND NEW out of the trainer truck. Needless to say, if it weren't for my fearless trainer, I would likely still be there trying to figure it out! LOL
    Thanks Sarge!

I was thinking more like 60-70 years in the past! Those streets even the highways are barely wide enough for cars, let alone us! And the city map is like a spider-web. And, also, I would get on a highway or street, and NO ONE else would be driving on it, I would think- OK, cool, I can go really slow and make sure that I don't get lost! Ha, yeah right. Less than 30 seconds later I can see in my mirrors hundreds of headlights racing up behind me. Great!

    EVERYTIME!!

    Geez.....

I get sent there almost every week, and then go up to Butler AK to load that 4-5 coil beast of a load afterwards. At least the guys that load me there in Butler are really cool.

Anyone else ever loaded there? Talk about a door-backing nightmare of a place! Make sure to buy a spare marker light if you get sent there LOL!

The W/A has Monarch as the consignee. If the CSR lets me have my way, I'll drop in this order: Rolled Alloys-CHRG Metals-Monarch Stainless-Dixie Cullen. Rolled Alloys and CHRG get the stuff on the back, Monarch is only getting 2 bundles, DC gets the rest.
