Hope the flat bedding thing works out for you. Be careful take your time.
Will take my hat off to the flat bedders who have to get on the side of the road and tighten there straps just inches from people playing on their smart phones.
Will take my hat off the the Flat Bedders, Mobile home haulers, Car haulers, the Piggy backers, the tanker yankers, and the food service (sysco, mbm, etc). You guys deserve every penny and 10,000 more on top of that. God bless you guys.Last edited: Apr 30, 2012

Those are my last 8 days miles, I know I know LOL.
I got a call today saying my mpg were down cause Ive been idling to much.
While driving my mpg according Qualcom is anywhere between 6.1-6.8.
These fools better start giving me more miles because I'm not gonna stop idling.Jarhed1964 Thanks this. -
So with a close to the KPAC 1500 the Jack&JIll Logistics JBS/Peterbilt pulls to the finish line a day early, and might even get the load off early. Not much to hope for with only 1hr 29mins left on the clock. So Jack how was the last stretch of the race.
Well Bump you know with California being a Restrictor plate State. I had to make sure the #13434 J&JL Peterbilt wouldn't get in any trouble with the CHP. We got the cruise to work for a while, and we geared down pretty good in the mountains since the Jake has stopped working. No Citations we just hope it stays that way on the way out.
Jill ran pretty good. She was a little lose on the last curve, but with a lumbar adjument and some air pressure in the seat. She was purring her way to the finish line. With some clean air we managed to get 8.1mpg. So with that Our Sponsor JBS may be giving us another fuel bonus and maybe our name on the website. Well that's about all for now. Just want to thank the Good Lord for keeping us safe and making good judgements throughout the race. Our Sponsor JBS/Pilgrims Pride and the fine folks over seas who love that Pilgrims Pride chicken. Keep on frying and we are going to keep on trying. We back quiet till the Next Race back to you. Bump Draft!! -
The Jack&Jill Logistics has been pulled in the door early. Houston we are getting unloaded. Also have a PP but may change because pick up is not till Wednesday. Just informed to scratch PP so they can find load tmrw. If not will get a 34 reset and pick up previous pp on wed. More update more later on the JJL networks

Day one of orientation in the books, the harleymanjax team is liking its new sponsor!.....the orientation guy rides a Harley so we hit it off and talked bikes all day!
Filled out paperwork then went to Concentra for drug test and physical, they do the same ergo testing JBS does except they dont check your blood pressure while your doing it.
Met alot of VERY HAPPY drivers in the yard! A couple had been there for more than 20 years and everybody else I spoke to had been there for about 10 years, it was refreshing to hang out in a terminal and not hear ONE complaint! It was also nice to be in a class with only me and one other new guy!
As far as equipment goes, yes they have some old trucks but all the drivers said they are well maintained! They also just got about 50 new Petes and are getting 50 more soon. They got alot of brand new trailers recently too!
The man said alot of drivers want a shiny new truck but those shiny trucks come with big truck payments and that means no hometime cuz that truck has to be paid for! Cypress owns all thier trucks so the driver can get hometime cuz the company doesnt have that payment hanging over its head..........I will take hometime over chrome any day!
I will be doing runs under 300 miles so even though they cant promise me I will be home every night, I should be home 4 out of 5 nights and every weekend!
Again, I cant stress enough how nice everyone was and how genuinely happy all the drivers were.........quite a shock compared to JBS!..............lol
also, my neck size has dropped to 15 inches so no talk of that BS sleep apnea test!Last edited: Apr 30, 2012
