The petro at grants, nm, wouldn't say it was bad per say, but I was parked their during the day and got the knock at 4:30pm, then at around 9pm got the retarded dressed kid offering to sell me drugs (was confused at first and thought he was asking me for a smoke, it's what I normally get) and then coming out of the bathroom passed the hooker walking into the bathroom.
For a tiny little place more "interesting" characters then I've had in the past 6months -

So then there's the Red Carpet Inn and Truck Stop in Coxsackie, NY, just off the Thruway.
I don't think the showers have been cleaned since they were built. You've never seen a more brilliant display of mold colors !
Now this is going back to 2003 since I was last in, but I admit I was a regular from '93 to '03 .... why ? Well because I've got a strong stomach and thick flip flops ..... AND the place was always empty so there was no wait.
...... oh, and there is a bar in the Inn !

Speedloader Thanks this.

yeah, convienience wise, the place was always in a good spot, but I once lost an over-size steel beam for the GWB in one of their pot holes !!!
Seriously ! The beam was 9' wide, 5' high, and 77' long !!!!
When I left the parking lot, I called my escorts and my NJ Trooper escorts and told them I had to stop and re-torque my binders ! 4 of 33 were loose after that parking lot.
Thus enduth the rant -- time to go to work. -
