Read the question twice, then answer BEFORE you look at your choices. Then see if your answer matches one of the choices. If not, read the question again. Look at the key words in the sentence, make sure you understand what they are asking. Take your time.
It's easier to do this on paper tests but you can usually put your hand in front of the answers on the screen so you don't see them.
When you are studying test questions on the websites and DMV books, think about why one answer is correct and the others are wrong. There are usually two answers that seem to work. Think about why one works and the other doesn't. Once you understand how they are trying to trick you into choosing the other answer, you will understand the questions better.
(My wife is a teacher and she taught me test taking skills. I hope some of the above makes sense.)

If you are not good at tests and live in central Florida, you might want to reconsider Millington and do CDL at Flagler community college instead. I believe Swift, among others, hires graduates from Flagler.

If you can pass air brakes and Haz-Mat, the general should be easy. Some of the questions they will throw in one word that will make the answer seem simple, but that one word wil make it wrong. Like another said, skip if you are not sure. Every time that I have to renew my haz-mat, I hate it, and I fly thru all of the easy one that I know, and this usually gets me a passing score.
