Sounds fair enough to me for shop rates, including everything.

Mine cost $1,800 to replace so it doesn't sound too bad to me.

$1400 out the door is a good price--providing they(you)are specing a heavy(strong)enough clutch for your application........

I ended up paying a shop $2700 for a clutch, input shaft, road call and tow from a shop near Brigham City (clutch broke at the Pilot in Ogden as I was pulling out, on a Saturday no less). Your 2500 price sounds a little high unless it includes the flywheel.

$1400 is a good price for parts and labor.

Local shops here are 85-95 per hour for labor, did they give you a breakdown of parts and labor?

Price sounds good if they are giving a quality clutch service.

$1400 is a fair rate. $800 or $900 for the clutch itself. The rest is labor.
