Must be nice to be independently wealthy :biggrin_25514:

What happened with Toyota? We did a run that delivered there Thanksgiving day in San Antonio. Also delivered there one other time since then.

we "the auto group" had between 25-40 loads a day going out of toyota san antonio (round trip) but we only have 5-8 O/O team trucks so the rest of the loads went to usx.... the USX TRUCKS didn't service the loads. late pu, late at the stops, late with del. didn't follow the rules at stops, shipper, recvier. so we LOST most of the runs to bull dog and swift

we are o/o on % and the loads pay well not great but well and we only had to run 2 a week 3,800-4,300 total miles (4 day's) to pocket 200% (or more) of what a company team makes running 6,000 miles a week.. and we were off for 2-3 days every weekend in the motel in the pool...!

Good for you, dude! Lots of luck to you guys!!!!! I'm still waiting in Shippensburg PA. We had 17 people in our class. Only lost 2 so far, so they've had a time with trying to get all of us processed. 6 of us were finished today so they put the rest of us back in the hotel. We get to hurry up and wait tomorrow. Only 2 of us have not heard from our trainers (me & another guy). My roomie finally got a call from her trainer this evening. I think I will have a little bit of a wait since I requested a n/s female trainer. We'll see.....

Why? Unless trainers only get 1500 miles a week why would it take 4 weeks? When I was a trainer there the hour requirements were 240 and my students got 50-60 hours a week average. I would hope trainers are getting at least 2500 a week these days?

It can happen. But I wouldn't count on it. I know the time of year makes a difference. If they keep them busy and they don't have any breakdown issues. Some fellow student I went to orientation with from TH were out 7wks, and still hadn't completed training.
