its in our contract that if we are busy and run behind etc, we get paid that half hour of overtime if told to work through our lunch break. we still get our ten minute breaks though. From what I heard from other employees that if told to work through lunch, and when they tell you return to base, you can then take 20 min to get food or rest etc.

So last night i had to do our worst run, best paying but most hated run....ATLANTA!

oh did i mention the ATL run is a set both ways! lol

Took 1 hour to build the set going south, and 15 min to figure out why the #### brakes wouldnt release on the back pup, then it took 4hrs 45min to get there. Got there at 12:30am, broke the set put them in doors, unloaded half of one of them, then was made to take my 30 min break.

Then i got my papers to go home, took me 45 min to build the set this time, and only 4hrs 30 min to get back.

Got back at 8:15am broke the set docked them, worked the dock for the last 15 min of my 14 and went home a 9am.

Heavy in the front unless they are within 1000 of each other, then it doesn't really matter.

Always heavy pup in front. that crack the whip effect and the g forces on the back trailer is worse with the heavy trailer there.

Ive gotten trailers within 100 lbs of each other on the manifest, and Im still putting the heaviest one based on the manifest in front. Why? god forbid you roll a set, then that gives the company another reason to fire your ###. but wait why did you put this 100 lb heavier trailer in the rear. weskest link, goodbye.

All about covering your ###, no matter where you go!
