CC, add the pic to your photo collection. Those are cool pics you have, btw.

Let's see these motorcycles....motorcycles that are governed at 40 mph.

Thanks, CC. That looks like a different company from SwiftQuit Transportation. SwiftQuit may have its hands in it, but I bet they don't own it.

You're right. If JerryQuit owned this company, the toys would have training wheels and be awfully slow. Too slow, in fact. I can see newbie hires jumping on these things at Swifty and riding them around as part of a driving test. They probably have 10" wheels if JerryCo is involved with them somehow.

I just did a search for the Swift Motorcycle. It DOES look like somebody at SwiftQuit builds motorcycles, and has been since 2001. These things are even built in Phoenix. Seems most are similar to Harley-Ds, and even have Harley radial-style engines.

These guys have dealerships from coast-to-coast, and this is the first time I've heard of 'em.

The names of their bikes, such as "Tormentor", "Lucky Strike", and "Punisher" are the same pet-names I gave some of their dispatchers, DMs, and shop guys when I worked at Swifty.

Now....I wonder if used versions of these bikes are gonna show up in the classifieds as often as Swift's help-wanted ads do. I wonder if they'll become an eBay darling just like the 'new' VW Beetle has become.

Right next to the Werner yard in Omaha, there is a Werner Cycle shop. I wonder what the story is behind that?

Yeap, I remember going by both the terminal and the motorcycle shop there in 'Ha. I, too, wonder what the story is there.

The question is.....If I go and buy one of these expensive JerryToys, will I want to jump off it as fast as I wanted to jump off Jerry's trucks when I drove for SwiftQuit? Even the money I'd watch go down the drain would be about the same. About 10K total for CDL training, and then QUIT. About 10K for a *used* Swift 'Cycle, and then SELL (for a big loss, of course).
