I talked to two Celadon drivers in the past 3 days, they both told me "you don't want to work for Celadon."
Both guys said, they have a hard time making 2,000 miles per week.
I wonder what life is like for the Celadon teams?

Maybe there just saying that so you dont work for them?
-
Basing a company off of what two drivers said isn't the best idea.
ewill71 Thanks this. -
Well, I get plenty of miles, but I still don't recommend Celadon. The way they run the office side of things really doesn't involve common sense. Besides, they pay really low. I have only stayed because they kept my pay rate from Glen Moore. If they ever decide to cut that, I'm gone.

From Florida you have to stay out 3-4 weeks with 3-4 days off and pay range starts around .32... 2000-2500 miles won't give you a lot to take home to momma!!! Not sure about other states but...

I know in the last couple of months they have run a lot of ads in the Indy paper for quite a few office positions. Dispatch, CS, shop, parts, safety.
Also, there is a couple of posts on here about ex Glenmore drivers getting their mileage cut. -
My miles are fine, but I've heard from some of my fellow former Glennies that they couldn't get miles. That seemed to be a big problem for those who were regional. Which is actually logical, since Celadon had never done regional before. -
Same for Portland Oregon. Out 4 weeks minimum, off 4 days. -
Yeah I hate to base my opinion on the story of just 2 drivers, but I can't get any Celadon teams to reply to my thread asking about Celadon teams.
Also haven't had the chance to talk to any Celadon teams on the road. -
Can't help ya there, I don't know any Celadon teams. All the Glen Moore teams have moved on as far as I can tell, and I've never met a Celadon direct hire team.
