I don't know what happened with your husband, and I'm not being judgmental. I've had my personal gripes about SNI, but all-in-all, it's a decent company that took care of me on more than one occasion.
All I'm saying is that there has to be more to this story than what we're hearing. -
I lost a drive line in amarillo ,tx other tearing up asphalt and yanking hoses and cables it not that bad of an experience . Expensive ,but not bad .. -
So was she the ex before or after sni canned the man?

So that's why she's done talking... -
To all poster on this thread, let it be known that WE are HR people from major trucking companies. All your anonymous user names will be tracked
and we will spend countless hours ferreting out your true identities, leaving our myriad duties with our thousands of other drivers solely for this task. Irrespective of the content of your posts, we will find you.

Wow, 9 pages and most of it was very difficult to read.
. While I have never personally had a drive shaft fall out, I yield to those with first hand experience of that particular event. Other posters have noted an increase in vibration before the drive shaft falls out. Now that seems plausable to me.
.
Unfortunately, some of the newest drivers think the truck is like any other appliance. The ability to notice much of anything out of the ordinary seems to be a vanishing ability.
.
I now work locally. I will not identify my employer. Sometimes I get swapped into a different truck that has a 6 to 10 psi a minute air leak that can easily be identified because every time you put your foot on the brake pedal the air pressure gauge drops. A few, ahem, drivers do not do an air brake test or notice much of anything going on, or for that matter, around the truck. I do not expect this to change in the near future.
.
As for the CO2 in the cab, on a pre-trip inspection would not a carbon trail at the point of the exhaust leak be visible to the driver? How about an unusual noise during normal engine operation? Oh wait, that would require the driver to notice something out of the normal. Never mind.Last edited: May 13, 2012

Of course russjac is blaming all the drivers for their fall out with Schneider.See drivers are suppose to suck it up and take the heat from all companies and not defend themselves on forums or wherever and try to protect other drivers from making the same mistake. But it's ok for companies to put whatever on drivers Dac Reports and ruin their good name,go figure.
