CJust got my call back and confirmation. Leaving Saturday.
@road virus- ill do you one better, I'm bringing.a light medical kit that contain, a brief summary; sun screen, burn cream, pain releavers, nondrowsy antihistamines, anti gas, ant diharea, bandages, gauze, topical anti biotic cream AND my uncle is a general physician, whom I managed to talk into writing me a script for wide spectrum solfuonmide antibiotics.
Whole thing weighs 2.5 pounds and is about half the size of a shoe box.

One thing boy scouts taught me- always be be prepared.
Nothing is going to stand between me and getting behind the wheel of a truck.

That being said, tips, please? Ie; if you had to bring something with you, what would it be?

EDIT-sorry, I wrote this from a smart phone, so grammatically, it looks like a toddler wrote iit

just remember to check your additude(not saying you have one) at the door. one thing, other then medical issues, that gets you sent home fast is copping an additude and not listening. open your ears and soak it all in because they are the best out there. and DONT PISS OFF CONNIE!!! she is awesome and everyone loves her.

and do not bring more then 2 bags of stuff. if you have a laptop bag then 3 as long as it is small. but one of my trainees brought 4 bags and i have need buys with 5-6 bags come from the school. that is WAY to much. i don't have that much #### in my truck and it is mine.

I was in touch with one of their recruiters the day I found about this BS with the Texas dps, I did not particularly like the choices they were giving me.
Nonetheless I wish you the best of luck man.

    MikeAkaSyndrome Thanks this.

Will do man, stay safe out there, and try not to kill the guy you're driving teams with.

Hey fil, on the plus side greyhound buses have electricity plugs and free wifi, so that should ease the trip time. Lol.
It could be worse man, you could be shooting out of Maine or something.
