Yep 3 to 4 inches, so no more floor to ceiling for me. Rarely did anyway.
Run hard burn those hours, bet I make it to the yard before emu. Made my first drop on time, now it is park, so I can legally be in arcadia for an 0700 and my impossible message on the final at 0900 in orlando actually worked. It is now at noon. Then it should be over to bradenton for OJ to texas.
Will see as the stevens world is never what it seems.
And I have plenty of hours from the reset in dodge.

Well Im home for a couple of days due to a TERRIBLE trainer. I wont name names or truck numbers but lets say this.
1) No Hygiene (never showered or changed his clothes)
2) Had a bad attitude and screamed and yelled. Very confrontational.
3) Used me as a mile mule and that was it. (1100 miles I did in 2 1/2 days) as a T1
4) Excessive speeding and pushed me to speed.
5) Never stopped (EVER) and when he did had to be rolling in 5 minutes.
6) No radio, CB or anything to pass the time. Talked on the phone 100+ times a day (no lie)
7) Old stinky truck, 800k miles 2007 and he left pee cups all over the truck with no lid.
I had enough so I left him in Sacramento. Getting re-assigned another trainer hopefully coming out of NY area since I had to take a flight home late last night from Cali. -
Vegas,
When you finish up training, you will be asked to rate your trainer(s).
Be sure and put these things down.
It's important we weed people like this out of the training program.Knew B. Wannabee, Corporal_Clegg, Rattlebunny and 1 other person Thank this. -
Don't think too hard on #3 Vegas, you'll have times you need to do 1500 miles in 2.5 days. Part of the job is driving...
Just an FYI, I did almost 24,000 miles during training and so glad that I did put that many miles up. It has REALLY helped me now, being solo for almost 8 months... -
So you never really gave the guy a chance? 2 days? Really?....... Lol. -
Looks like my new trainer is going to be Emulsified. So just waiting on Randle to clear it. -
Lol, I shower everyday if I can but no less than every other day. Thts gross.....

As for the 13-6 overpasses, I think that most of the higher interior is thinner roof insulation and/or lower floors. I remember a speech in one class in January about the newer trailers having lighter weight insulation and needing less to do the same job, and that these newer trailers were wedge shaped, taller in back than in front for less air resistance. They are probably still lower than 13-6. I know at least one place in Chicago where we have a major account they better still be 13-5 or less or we wont be able to go with the new ones. -

I took a tape measure to the newer trailers, they are 13'7" at the back door brace.
I had a trainer that hated truck stops, he always parked in the strangest places. Shower day was wed and sunday, middle of the day, then we left. That was a long 3 weeks. But I made it.
Now the pee cups would have also had me jumping ship.Rattlebunny Thanks this.
