We are going to be traveling between Spokane, wa and Calgary via Kingsgate. My husband and I have never been to Canada before. We are looking for somewhere to shut down for the night after we cross the border at Kingsgate. We will be taking HWY 3. Any suguestions for anything between Kingsgate and Calgary?

Is there a good website to use to find them?

cranbrook husky will be full at 4pm, maybe 8 trucks can park there
guessing youll stay on hwy 3 until hwy 2, if thats the case, nanton truckstop will have parking
3-22-2 is a bit shorter and 22 is pretty
but try to get into alberta before dark, the elk between cranbrook and the alberta border will mess up your truck -
Lots of roadside pullouts in that area

if you make it as far as fernie you can park beside the canadian tire on the east side of town, usually lots of room. 24 hour tim hortons right there to
there's also a good sized parking area about 15 min past the border where you meet up with the crowsnest (3) but no services unless the dodgy gas station across the road is open. good option if you're tired, might be tough to find a spot in cranbrook after dark.scottied67 Thanks this. -
Lol, there's plenty of spots in cranbrook where yyou can park. Behind the sandman inn is where I usually shut down. 7 eleven on one side, dennys on the other. Always empty pretty much. Also there's a gravel lot beside the harley davidson dealer across from lordco. Or behind the kaltire there's a bbig lot lots of people park in.

Just south of Calgary is the Petro-Pass at Aldersyde. Lots of parking, I think the store is 24/7 and there's an A&W
