They say here at roadmaster that u will fail if cdl if u don't double clutch. I start driving next week. See how it goes.

double clutch every once in a while if im on a hill..float mostly.
-
Clutch ....thats the pedal on the left you step on to start the truck right
Float mostly, bump the clutch sometimes on the way down to get it out of gear.
Step halfway down on it when stopping but leave the stick in the hole till at a full stop to stop the gears from moving making it easier to get in low. Saves time and the clutch brake.RockinChair Thanks this. -
Double Clutch? what the heck is that?
-
So thats what the left pedal is for... Was wonderin bout that... lol Starts, stops, kick it out of gear when I need the brake.... Floating is easier.
-
Float, and never step all the way down on the clutch. You will burn up your clutch brake. Only use the clutch brake when fully stopped. All ways practice safe gear selection.
Unkl L Thanks this.
