Scratch that, just got a preassignment heading up to northern Colorado, 840 mile run. Things are looking great, should have a good week.

 

Sounds like things are getting better with WF, good to hear you guys are getting preplans.

 

I parked last night at 730 in Orange TX. Had an appointment this morning in Houston at 0800.

Took a shower, and when I got back to the truck, I had TWO pre-assignments.

First was picking up a load in La Porte and dropping it off at the Houston OC.

Second is a 1200 mile load that delivers in Huron OH Monday morning.

Crappy thing is they are both HAZMAT loads, oh well.

Count it, that is 11 WHOLE DAYS I have had a pre-assignment before I dropped the current load.

Ahhhh, feels like the good ole days LOL

 

Lol, the 2 stop load I delivered in the phoenix area was a hazmat.

 

yea, seems anytime I get anywhere near Houston, I end up bringing out a hazmat load.

Weird thing is, the load I relayed was going to Ada, MI. But they had me drop that at the OC and pick up a relay at the OC going to northern OH.

didn't understand that one, but oh well!

How many miles have you had during that time?

 

did 2700 last week and will end up with a tad over 2300 this week. But I had 3 short hauls this week which will help.

When I drop on Monday I will already have 1250 miles in

 

well, I am going home next weekend, so I was confused as to why they were even sending me that way yet.

 

How much do they pay you guys for short haul? Is it a flat amount or do they pay you extra mileage pay?
