I think you nailed it.. I worked for MS Carriers for along time.. GREAT JOB.. Swift bought them and they wanted us out of there to fill the seats with cheaper less experienced workers when I asked my TM ( who was on his way out) he told me they were pressuring them to find reason to get rid of us and to starve us so we would leave because they needed to fill there numbers to get the money from the feds..

My vote goes for prime because i drive for them and they dont give good miles and give crappy small trucks to their company drivers... Prime just sucks... i only made 2000 miles this week. when i asked for more miles they said, sorry we're short 150 loads....X-/

 

Its also evident you can be a great driver..and work for a not so great. Company ...one drivers actions can set a good example or a bad example.I see drivers everyday doing dumb stuff on the hwys..and its not just mega carrier's ...I blame then economy which has Inturn made a lot of drivers have an "I don't care additude"...
