I'm thinking about driving a pumpkin as well. I know they do 48 + canada and if i sign on for OTR, is there a pretty good chance that I could get to drive all over the place, or will I get stuck just driving one area or some such (East coast, Out west, etc...)? I ask because I really want to travel all over the place.

From my experience, I switched from dedicated team to otr... it's what you tell you're dbl, If I want to go to chicago to see family, done. If I want to visit a friend in SC or TX...done. Oranges in Cali...done. It might take a few days to get you where you want to go but you'll get there, all up to you communicating with your manager.
BTW... I use to live in Des Plaines and went to Maine East HS -

Just a question about SNI. I currently am unemployed
. I recently left a soft drink company, because they took me off my normal job driving and delivering with a Class A truck and stuck me on a class B truck filling vending machines, because a guy quit. I took a huge cut in pay and was promised it was only for two weeks. Needless to say 4 weeks in and I had enough. I have about 6 months of driving experience, being I recently graduated this past November. I am looking into SNI and thinking of applying with them. I'd like to land something that gets me home during the week or " Daily" if at all possible, because I have little ones at home I'd like to spend some time with. Do they hire rookies and want them to do the OTR Thing, or is it possible to get a Dedicated account with them or will I have to do regional OTR??

schneider jobs.com, most regional is 6 months exp. i started on a ne regional 5/2 5 on 2 off and switched over to a 4/4 4 on 4 off. check and see whats available. schneider i think has some of the best work schedules.

TY. Just so I am getting this right. 5/2 means out 5 days and home for 2? Sorry it's a dumb question, but as I said I am new to all of this.
