Good people but unless it is just physical damage they are expensive AND risky considering their structure.

Am searching the thread for General Liability & not finding what I am looking for. Have always turned it down in the past, but is it really necessary? Think it is a additional $296 for the year.

My truck/trailer are based out of my residence with no employees. I guess other than someone walking by that walks up the trailer & falls off the thing. Just trying to be sure it is money well spent.

Yes.If you are a for-hire trucker,or motor carrier, you definitely need the Motor Truck General Liability Insurance.Even if you are based out your home. The examples are too many to list. Also, when you deliver a load the other parties involved are starting to require this more and more.
For $296.It's well worth it.Considering what you could end up paying for out of your own pocket.
PM me if you want more advice.

    Sincerely,

    Insurance Advisor

I was just quoted at $1300.00-1500.00 a month... from a Lease op. Owner who is hired on with J.B.... I just checked it for the truck I want to get and full complete coverage was $1450.00 down and then $454.00 a month for 9 months... Tell me who is trying to pull the skinny over my what you call it!!!:biggrin_2556:

So I get this straight - he is doing a lease purchase or he owns the tractor and leasing it to you?
