I made made 42k my last year as a firefighter/paramedic. That is the average pay across the country. Some pay more, however, they're very competitive and difficult to get a spot, you often have to put yourself through the academy without pay because they want you already firefighter 1 and 2, and they are busy as hell. While you may say that's okay at first, it's s very extremely stressful job and that level of business catches up to you quickly.

Hey mad max give venezia a call you'll make at least 800 per week there health insurance is cheap good vacation time descent equipment plus they have different divisions if you get tired of pulling cement not the best company to work for but far from the worst a lot better then where your at now only down side is they hold 2 weeks of pay so you won't see your first pay for 3 weeks.I can tell you that cement work has cheap rates all around

Too bad you don't live near me. My local manager is looking for w couple of drivers to do the same kinda routes I do. Out one night, home one night. Off weekends and holidays. I never gross less than $1100 weekly, never run over about 2500 miles on a busy week. Percentage pay.
