CRST and NO miles

Ever noticed how the CRST drivers look like their trucks?

 

Ifs memorial day weekend we are going to sit. Since ive been with CRST we havent got no less then 4500 miles, although this week we are destined to get about 3000. We were broke down for two days and we are headed home wed. Right now we sit like you in monroe ohio at a pilot. Hopefully we both gets loads soon so we can get rolling. Gary Indiana is a #### hole. There may be no gigolos there but im sure there are plenty lizards

I had plenty of complaints when I worked there...however miles wasn't one of them. I consistently saw 5-7K miles a week and when I left I was up to .36/mi so I made out pretty good. Usually drivers that don't get miles have a reason they aren't getting miles, either service related or can't hold onto a codriver. Anytime a driver would complain at a terminal the first question I always asked was "are you ever late"...and the most common answer was "well only a couple of times..but it wasn't my fault it was my codriver's fault"

 

I have a load. Nyc to Nashville Tn. Its a nice light load. Only 8,000lbs. Just hanging out at the ta in New jersey. Just had a whopper combo...and got off the phone with my wife and her girlfriend. When I call home I talk to them both since her girlfriend lives with us.......(yes)

You want to pay a guy then all you have to do is turn the CB on and say so but the problem is you'll never hear anyone because they will all be trying to talk at the same time!

Guess you never watched what happens in the buildings? There is a class of woman that will stand and watch and they would pick out a driver and come on to them like the men do with the women!

They aren't Cougars as many of them are looking for the older drivers! Heck, I watched one at the pilot in Hebron one evening as she "stalked" this older guy and attacked and got him by the neck and took him to her truck. I told the other guys that were drooling over her short leather skirt and low cut top that tried to sweet talk her into their trucks that they never had a chance as that's all she wanted was an older guy as they were heading to her truck! They didn't believe me but the proof was walking to the SW corner of the lot!

An hour later he crawls out and starts to head to his truck and walks in front of my truck sweating like a pig and then fell over from a heart attack! She was pulling out when this happened and I saw her looking at him and she gassed the hello out of that Useless Express truck!

He was DOA when the ambulance got there even with 5 of us giving CPR.

But that's a regular occurrence at truck stops if you know what to look for! It's a fun time killer when waiting for a load or for the 10 hours to end! It gets funny at times also when the guy realizes he's going to get lucky and he wasn't even thinking of a roll in the bunk!

There is or was as I last saw her in 04 an absolutely gorgeous platinum blonde knockout, a redhead that makes the one in Roger Rabbit if she were real look bad and then a few others I've seen over the years! Then the ones who HAVE to pay if they can't find a driver that has no taste in women which a lot of them don't have!

But for you heck just pick out a driver and make contact! IF you want to pay him I'll bet he won't turn you down but women should not have any problem finding a man to fill some empty time! Heck there are also bars and other places to go meet people when laid over. No that's NOT a pun but heck there are a few in this so far! LOL!

 

lighten up,I was joking.DO you not like to joke around.I am SO NOT LIKE THAT.Yes I have been hit on by alot of drivers and to this day I still get hit on.It's when they stop hitting on me i'll start to worry.Far as women coming on to men,well I don't pay attention to what happens out there.People like that I have no interest in to even talk to.I do my job hit the sack and and do it all over the next day.I don't flirt I don't have a CB and havent dam near since I started driving trk,I don't need it.Again I WAS JOKING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Some women drivers are'nt any better then some of the men drivers but im not one of them-

 

CRST makes money on turnover or they would do something about it.

When I worked at USX they had auto shift trucks and women would get signed on and pimp themselves out at the truck stops when they had the time. There where a couple that told me they used to work out of the motel behind the TA off of council in OKC and got started when they noticed the auto shift in the drivers truck- A few would hook up with drivers and get signed on as a pass and then work the T/S on the drivers runs. All they had to do was drive some miles for the driver so they could make some extra coin.
USX has no idea how many drivers where getting passengers to help out that did not even work for USX. I know one guy who drove a USX truck for months while his wife (who was the employee) was in Cali fighting for custody of her kid from a prev marriage.
