Drug Testing?? Having problems with my boss

Do the test...
Test negative...

And go on with your life.

 

Did you get a bit hostile or upset when arguing with your boss?

Has your mood or attitude at work changed recently?

Any of those reasons would pull you in for a drug test. Just submit and prove them wrong.

Sorry to Hear that about your boss being an A hole ,,

I am no Expert on the laws of testing in the work place ,, But where i use to work ,,, Random Testing means anyone working for this ,,, that ,,, Company is open to being tested at anytime ,, ALSO .. an Argument with Upper Management could be seen as a out of, character , Hostile , Odd , and would be Reason enough to ask for a drug Test .
Keep your Chin up and walk tall ,, as long as you have Nothing to worry about the mud is on his face ,, that's how i see it anyway ..,

On another Note ,,, Quit !! !.......... if you have been drug tested 2-x before, then there is something going on and your boss may just be Harassing you ?? 3 test in 2 years ?? ask around, is this norm ?, how about everyone ells that works there ??

He can't do anything if you come up negative, so take it and smile very smugly when you pass it.

 

I think we've all had some choice words with our supervisors/bosses. Doesn't necessarily mean that he's out to get you. If you've smoked, snorted or injected anything then worry but if not then get on with your life/job.

Just to show you how random drug test are. In the year of 2010 I got selected by corporate computer system four times that year for a piss test. Didn't have any arguments or anything around the time frame before being selected for the testing. Since then I've only been selected twice.

I'm not 100% sure but I believe it's a requirement from the government for motor carriers that a certain percentage of employee/drivers every year must be random drug tested ever year.

 

i have worked in places where the same guy got a random test every time they were ordered up, so yeah, it is norm and can happen.

i worked at another place where i was random tested each time.

so what's yer point, that randoms can only be done once in a blue moon for everyone/????

 

it could have been a complete coincidence that your name came up for the random later that day, after this argument you had. so you really cannot say it is harassment.

but to be on the safe side, keep your pie hole closed from now on.

if you dare to push this issue, i can assure you that you will be random tested every single time, and that will be just to bust your chops. remember too that there is a (i believe in many cases) a 2 hour window to show up. they may call you when you are about 4 hours away, whaddya gonna do then???

it'll be a refusal if you do not show up, wanna have a drug refusal on you now???

 

That's ridiculous gizmo, you could report to any place local to you to have your drug test if you cannot make it to their appointed testing center.

 

Don't waste your time arguing w/ management. They're much better at it.
