Great time at 'home" with my parents and daughter. We came here for my Daughters 21st birthday and it was a blast. I still miss Seattle even though I moved to Colorado in 2000. This is such a great city. Getting ready to head out tomorrow. They will only fix the air conditioning at one of our terminals so it looks like we will be heading East. I sent a message this morning asking for a load to Tunnel Hill so we could at least see the grandkids if we are going to have to sit for a couple of days. Fingers crossed on that one. The heat wave across the middle of the country looks to have broken so we should survive the trip.

Good luck, stay cool. It has been hot as anything in Atlanta
For the past week. Are you still in the freightliner?

You would think it is no big deal but this is the third time it has been out. Remember that even though it is "new", it has 260.000 miles on it. I think this is a burst hose but I cannot find it. I think replace the hose and recharge the A/C.

@Musicgal, so so sorry, guess I could of found a better word since we are all in the trucking industry and lizard was not a good choice. How about reptile..lol

@nococraig, glad you two had a good time with the family and sorry to here you couldn't get AC fixed while you were off, not sure why that couldn't have happened. Ours went out completely sunday evening. So, monday on our way I stopped at the Springfield, OH terminal. They had it fixed late that night. They were really great about getting us up front, just didn't have a big crew, since it was memorial day but, we are happy.

By-the-way, our has just over 260,000 miles on her... This is the first time the AC has went out. I am hoping they didn't just refill it but, we shall see.

Craig: We are in a 2012 Cascadia as well. We had A/C isues last month. We turned off the battery disconnect switch for 10 minutes and the A/C started working again. It might be worth a try for you. It is too hot to drive with out A/C.
