40 miles from west Memphis, ran 666 miles today. Didn't go into details, as is usual when it is interoffice. The fact he called me though makes a difference to me. Once again 1 of the big things that will keep me at Conway is the level of respect I get from the office. Also, I have yet to have any issue with equipment repair. Things aren't perfect, but it's worth riding out if the only issue is low miles occasionally. This will be my first "short" weeks still clearing over 500, not perfect but a hell of alot better than some.

On my way to Illinois. Last night at a crowded truck stop, I stepped out of my truck to go into the building and, much to my surprise, (and horror) there was a woman taking a dump right next to my tags. Pardon me, maam. After seeing that, I sure wish that this job would offer some type of hazard pay. And she wasnt even using any toilet paper. Oh, I would so love to have a beer; and after that, get back to the world.

    paul_4lp and lonewolf4ad Thank this.

LMAO, yea some days you really need a beer after this job, too bad it's such a hazard to have one. Welcome to the forum.

I've been in Phoenix when temp was over 120 and with last company I drove for we had thermo king APU with sleeper curtain closed keep sleeper at 60% even though was 120 outside.

If you completely block out the sun, then sure you could do it. But initially you would have to cool it down with the trucks AC. It might be able to maintain that temp. But the dang things are in the shop way too much, they are constantly breaking. That is probably why Con-Way stopped installing them.
