Here is the tarped double-barrelled coil array that was delivered to Portland, TN on Tuesday morning:
Here is my current load. The one photo has the Saturn 1B rocket in the background.
I am currently parked behind the Alabaster, Alabama Wal-Mart, about 3 miles from tomorrow's delivery in Saginaw, AL.

Delivered the rectangular pipe this morning; very easy process overall, especially with no tarp.
Load of 2x6 lumber picked up in rural Belk, AL and destined for rural Otterbein, IN (not in the road atlas). However, I am to relay this load to another driver near Louisville, KY, then go get another load somewhere in KY going to Georgia. The idea is to try and get me more miles over the weekend. Net net it is supposed to be ~200 more miles.
Beautiful day today with temps in low 70's and getting cool this evening here in southern Tennessee; no aircon needed tonight. Now at the Tennessean truck stop I-65 XT 22, about 3.5 hours from the relay point. Decided to try something different instead of the same ol' Pilot/FJ/Loves/TA. The independent truck stops certainly have their own unique character. This one is pretty cool.
Most of my routing today was on AL state highways, including one through a national forest. The scenery was nice; the hills and curves made the driving certainly more challenging than the interstate. -
good food in there. I try to stop when I'm down that way.Perpetual, notezbngrn71 and DocFrank Thank this. -

Perpetual, 100 plus posts in this thread alone. Who's doing the driving?

Dropped off the relayed 2x6 lumber load and picked up the MT trailer that other driver had in Shepardsville, KY, near Louisville. My next load was setup to automatically dispatch when I dropped the relay. Was headed to a truck stop 5 miles past where the shipper is located in Hawesville, KY and, as I was driving past, decided to pop in and check it out. There was a skeleton crew working on Saturday and no other flatbeds in sight. They had my load ready so I went ahead and picked it up a day early
Stayed inside at the dock to secure and tarp, since there were no other trucks waiting. The load is 7 aluminum slinky's, 'eyes to the sky' on pallets.
Now off I-65 near the KY/TN border with about 5.5 hrs left to the delivery location in Carrollton, GA, west of Atlanta. It's due Monday morning so an easy run in store for tomorrow. -
Love it when things just fall into place. Good job checking.
Perpetual Thanks this.
