Can't Get paid by my Carrier

    I am an owner operator working for a carrier in Irving, Texas...

    I quit working for them 2 months ago and until today they won't pay me...

    They owe me more than $6000.00...

    What should I do???

    Please advice I am sick and tire of these guys...THEY'RE CROOKS...

    6 grand is worth a consultation fee with a lawyer and a letter from him to the company with the word 'lawsuit' prominently displayed.

    Definitely. Even if you lose $2,000 of it to the lawyer, you'll still be ahead (rather than zero) and hopefully they won't do it to the next guy who can't even THINK of getting a lawyer for various reasons.

    Other than that, small claims court??? I'm not sure if that's allowed for that much or not where you live. It's $5,000 here but it's different everywhere.

    I know guys who've gone to jail for stealing a sandwich. Sue these guys. File a wage claim, too.
