A lot of LTL company trucks don't have radios. Most drivers build their own boxes and radio setups.

Yea I got no sympathy for you on that one. The ONLY trucks that have radios at most LTL companies are the brand new ones and you will NOT see them any time soon being a bottom guy. at YRC you can install one in your permanant truck, or just build yourself a box and be able to transport it between trucks

So drove about 50 miles today to apply at the CTI terminal just to get told by the secretary that I need my hazmat before I can fill out an application. I didnt get that because the APP said Hazmat required or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire. Oh well what can I do right

last night was a longgggg night

went to atlanta with a set, in a auto truck with like 4hp, then i witnessed a Fatalilty accident on I-85 in SC, literally happend right in front of me. A woman crossed the median (threw a wire barrier) hit a car, then hit a Tractor Trailer Head on, causing the truck to jacknife and block the left shoulder and all 3 lanes (only leaving the right should for us to get around it) The woman in the car the crossed the median was NOT wareing a seat belt and was hanging out of the passenger window backwards, she died. We were able to sneak around the mess haveing to drive threw a ton of crap from the car/truck. People were stopping on BOTH sides of the interestate to take pics of this woman, that old deminion driver in front of me, parked his truck, got out, walked over took a pic of the woman hanging out of her car with his phone then got back in his truck and drove around the wreck....there were 20-30 people standing around her just takeing pictures...
