Just dropped another 2600 bucks into the truck. VVA's on cylinder 3 and 4 were changed out, plus had an overhead valve adjustment done at the same time. Was a couple of broken bolts in the valve covers so had a set put in as well. Oil sample taken as well. Good news is the trucks running really nice after the work was done. Anyways guys just another quick update on my new o/o experience. I will have a full months settlements to put up here after the 15th of the month, also my girlfriend just bought me an Iphone so i will have the net on the road from now on ! Will be sure to keep the good, and bad, experiences updated more regularly from now on. On a side note , jus completed a trip from canada down the 101 south through oregon into california. If you ever get the chance to take a drive down that way you wont be dissapointed. Such a beautiful part of the world. Went through the Colombia gorge in washington as well, absolutely awesome stuff! Well you guys stay safe and keep on truckin!
The hits just keep on coming!!

Yeah man it sucks sometimes. I think I'm gonna have to get bushings replaced in my trailer not sure though. Had what i thought were two bad tires, they did need replacing, replaced and still have the same shaking from the trailer that started several months ago and is getting worse.. Just busted a deer a couple of nights ago and destroyed my bumper. Always something....

Hey rollin coal, you don't have a worn out or busted shock do you? That can cause a nasty shake, a tire with a busted belt can cause it also.

I replaced all four shocks a couple of weeks before I put the new tires on.. I'm really at a loss.. Bushings will be a big expensive job, I know a place in Nashville, TN that can check it out and will fix it for fair price. A friend of mine had bad bushings in a trailer and if his truck/trailer was parked to where the trailer axles weren't on an oddball surface in a bind you could kick the tires and literally see the axle move back and forth an inch and a half.. I haven't been able to see that with mine... I had to remove the level valve when putting one of the rear shocks on and wonder if it might be out of adjusment or maybe if it is just bad. I can get a spec sheet from utility and set it to spec myself, it is not leaking air constantly so I assume it is still good, just maybe out of spec.. I dunno, I will check that before I make the trip up to TAFA to see about the bushings....

How much was it to replace your shocks rollin? What shocks did you go with? I am thinking of doing mine soon (on the tractor). Is it good to get a wheel alignment when the shocks are done?

HAHA LOL if only ! She's a good girl and takes care of me but I think that might be stretching the friendship! -
Shocks were Gabriels $75 apiece.. I could have shopped around and gotten them much cheaper but I normally just buy stuff like that wherever if they have it in stock... get it.. probably about $50-$65 at truck pro or fleetpride but they arn't convienient always.. I have thought about bullbars on the front but don;t really think it would look right on my rig. Probably going to just drive it as is for a little while until I get this trailer situation fixed then maybe I will order up a new bumper and bracket..
