Thank you so much for responding!! I will definently give him the advice. Our frustration level has come to a boiling point. I'm trying to help him on the computer from home with a teething baby in tears (both me and the baby lol) so I appreciate you at least giving me something to tell him so I have some direction to send him in.

Recruiting has been like pulling teeth.
When we first came into contact with Schneider, everything was rosy. Met Joe Phillips here in Houston. He showed us (hubby & wife team) around the terminal, answered tons of questions, etc.
Told us TWIC & Hazmat would be a good idea, and to call him again when we were about half done with school.
Called back as requested around week 3 of class. Was directed to a Rhonda for hiring.
Chatted with Rhonda a few times, and turns out she doesn't recruit teams. Um, ok. But we've been mentioning the whole time that we were coming in as a team.
So now we've been trying to get in touch with a Mandy for over a week now. She is either on vacation or so overwhelmed that she can't return calls.
We're on our last week now before we go take our road tests. Already have TWIC in hand.. (can't take hazmat in Texas until *after* road test. lame.) And our instructors are pretty confident in our whole class being a first time go at DPS. .. (I am too. I've seen a couple of students who rode with us for a couple days who had already completed their 6 weeks but failed at the DPS. And we were all quite a bit better than those guys, even two weeks ago. Makes me wonder how some can rush through a 3 week course & be any good. 0_o)
We're about ready to consider a company that has their #### together better.
Schneider's military partnership with the VA would have added a couple grand extra a month (we were dual military, so I'd assume we should both get the VA benefit) to our pay, but we can't just wait around until someone feels like calling back.
And I see this as indicative of how a company treats their employees as a whole. :/
Someone tell me I'm wrong, I don't think I can convince the hubbs to do specialized flatbed with Waggoner even though they pay teams .62 / mile -

I would call the main recruitment line up in green bay. Explain to them what's going.

One thing on your NAT, make your your clock times are accurate. 11/14/70. Do your trip plan based off the paid miles given and add an hour or two. especially pulling water. As long as there isnt a specific appt time, you should be good. take a peek at your atlas too. If it looks like you'k\ll be running non interstate, add an hour for that too.
GB will set times as aggressive as they can based off your avaiable hours shown on the NAT screen. if you cant do it, reset them.Female Driver Thanks this. -
Truck may have needed cleaned , but SNI doesnt allow pets. So , I dont think that was pet hair.
Switching to Indy would take him of the .29 as they arent classified as Northeast regional. You do know he's on the per diem program , right? he shows as making .09 or .10 a mile taxable. he'll be on that til he reaches 3 months and requests to be taken off it. the balance is paid paid direct to him at .16 or so. They take .02 a mile as admin fees. Is he paid by direct deposit or paper check? If he's paid through comdata card he may be using the card wrong. With comdata we can get advances which come out of the following weeks check.
Last, it is NOT 5 hours to obetz from sylvania, ohio. try 2 hours. 3 on a bad day. I-75 to US23 south to I270 around to Alum creek. -
Yeah. The time they gave me to get here was reasonable since I went a different way than the Navigo suggested. It wanted me to take a whole lot non-interstate. I wouldn't have much of a problem doing that normally, except that my load is way heavy, and the thought of stopping at lights and such in little towns just didn't appeal to me. I have an appointment time that is supposed to last for 3 hours. -

I get 16cpm per diem.
