Been a rough day here too.
Realized I only have one beer in the refer.
Now I have to arm wrestle my wife for it.
    Loser goes and gets more.

Good grief, and who is paying for all those miles to fix their equipment?

Almost done with my "home time" 94 hour weekend restart and getting the #### off the yard. 2600 miles in 2 weeks, ugh. Leaving in 2 hours and hoping that I can get my paycheck caught up so that I CAN take a home time... :/

Well the twiddle my thumbs in the northeast continues. Drove my 350 miles today in 8 hours drive time, dang traffic and rain to only get the truthful bad news. All load for wed are covered, and there are 50 trucks collecting layover pay. And that does not included all the trucks emptying out on wed. CSR's and planners are really doing a terrible job of booking loads where the trucks are. I have to wonder, will stevens survive? Or do they profit enough from the students that moving freight and keeping the fleet productive is not needed.

I'd give it a day or so before they start buying cheapp freight just to get the trucks out of the northeast. Happens on occasion. That many trucks sitting drawing layover puts a fire under the planners to get off their butts and move people back to the midwest.
