Have been at USX for almost a year and when I started it was a really good company, but as of late we lost our good miles we are on a reefer board and now we can't even get a reefer load and we lost or ddispatcher that we
have had for 7 months!! The bs in tthis company gets old they turn your truck down to where it won't idle the truck doesn't have any power and the engine break is gone!! You call to talk tto your fm you sit on hold for
45min (no joke) and can't get any response on the driver tech!! Enter this company at your own risk it's time for a change for me!!![]()

Are you running solo or team?
-
Running team!! Always on time with loads never late and run hard all the time

The idle, the jake brake, and the lack of communication were the reasons I left. I have to have AC because I don't sweat and am allergic to wasps.
TheRedskinsWay Thanks this. -
One would think that it is a safety issue if you cannot get a good nights sleep. I would not see that happening if you are parked in the sun, and 70 degrees out and you have to put the windows up for your safety to be able to sleep only to bake in the sun without being able to idle with AC on.

Find the thermometer and manipulate it. Problem solved.
Check into shop.... problem solved.
Contact your terminal manager and driver liaisons... problem solvedNoCoCraig and HarleyGoat Thank this. -
Once you check your truck into the shop the problem is not solved!! It makes it worse and the terminal manager isn't going to give a crap they'll just tell you they can't do anything and that you need to talk to your fm!!

I have an '11 Cascadia with no idle shutdown.
Reefer involves a lot of sitting but great miles. I was getting a little fed up with the sitting part myself.
Any company similar in size to USX has the same problem with getting ahold of the FM. The trick is to not need to talk to them...LOL Yesterday I burned up most of my 14 waiting for them to find me a trailer. Problem was I was in CT. Not many mt's sitting around there.
Dispatchers come and go, just like drivers. -
There are some very simple things that they could do to help keep drivers moving out there but yet they don't do it. -
Any training company has a revolving door because of all the newbies coming in. Experienced drivers deal with things a little better. How do you know the people who leave are good people?flood Thanks this.
