I thought a/c was required to work to prevent heat related illnesses that could cause an accident? Could of heard wrong though
AC not working, is there a DOT regulation about this?

If AC was a requirement, I guess no one would be allowed to work construction in the summertime, or an open warehouse in the summertime, I guess the US would just have to shut down all production from mid may, thru mid Sept.
It's a truck, when moving there's plenty of airflow. Look at guys doing road construction, all day long working around hot blacktop, in the boiling sun.
I drive all day in Florida, haven't ran the AC in 2 years. just roll down the windows and your good to go.DrtyDiesel Thanks this. -

Listening to you guys, I have to wonder what the working class in America did before the invention of A/C, jogging pants, sandals, and 32 oz. big gulp drinks.

I have stayed in a motel 5 times for the heat.
I do remember when the ac died, how miserable it was in the truck and that at night there was no relief either way.Wicked Wizard Thanks this. -
