No, that wouldn't be okay. It'd infringe on his right to tell us how we should drive. Or something like that... Lol
-
the old rule of thumb for following distance was one truck and trailer lenght for each 10 mph of speed,I am not sure where this so many second thing came from. Because today the trucks running 75 mph do not have a seven and a half truck lenght following distance or the ones running 60 do not stay back 6 truck and trailer lenghts.
-
I see a lot of speed limited trucks with a 65 mph speed and a following distance of 10 feet or less this is the real hazard
-
The speed at which the vehicle is governed is absolutely irrelevant. The only relevant factor to this thread is choosing actions that are unsafe. Not so hard to understand, is it?
-
You can drive what ever speed you want I could care less but at least you have a choice which once again is my point which you seem to be missing I'm not saying drive like a maniac or run 1000 miles in a day I'm saying stand up for yourselves not stop letting your freedoms being taken away of course you'd take the large car just admit it cause you had a choice
-
you missed my point I am not bashing limited trucks . I am talking about the people in the drivers' seat.
-
So guys with governored trucks tailgating each other and running 60 in a construction that's safe
-
Likewise, I am not bashing trucks that are capable of running 90+. It's all about the driver.
-
Poppapump.... I don't really understand you... No, tailgating at 60 is not safe... Nor is it safe at 50... 40, 30 or 10... Was that a serious question? I hope not...
