my version of a good lease purchase

    i think a good lease purchase should be were a driver could pick out how he wants his truck to be and what kind since he/she will be having the truck for there trucking career

    he shouldnt have to pick a truck that is striped down and he knows he is not comfortable with his truck

    There is an easy way to do that, it's called having credit and obtaining financing.

    If they have bad credit they probably don't have the business skills to succeed as a L/O. As always, there are a few exceptions but most don't make it.

    I'd be more concerned about the quality/quantity of freight and if you could make good money. Truck is just a tool when your starting out.

    I would say you are correct. I potential L/O or O/O should be much more worried about things like revenue, fixed expenses, cost of operation, and fuel mileage then whether their truck has all the bells, whistles, and chrome they want.

    I don't agree with that at all. My credit sucks and I have already made over $60,000 after expenses since Jan 1 in a lease purchase running as a solo this year.

    Agree bad credit don't mean you won't succeed as an l/o people have stuff happen like losing a job,illness,etc that ruins there credit
