Reread what I said, there are exceptions but on the whole past results are more often then not a good indicator of future success. If you've had problems in the past and are now succeeding at life don't look at this as a knock against you but a pat on the back. You've accomplished something the average person probably can't. Also, I do agree that in the last few years more people have been seeing their credit ruined do to circumstances beyond their control. These people probably have shown a capacity for success in the past prior to our current economic woes so they don't really fit what I meant.

I just started a few weeks ago with ACT and as bigkid said, $1200 is the average... more than I made as company and I'm paying off a 2010 truck.

must spend 15. whatever -
Just because someone had bad credit, doesn't mean they're not financially smart...There's all kinds of reasons why it could've happened...I for 1 had some issues awhile back with a wife (exwife now) that loved to shop and hide things from me that put us in the poorhouse..When I found out,she was kicked to the curb...I bounced back and it took about 5-6 yrs...That would never stop me from doing a lease that's for sure...That would be my wife's (the accountant) job...She wouldn't....lol
