Made my delivery to burris in atlanta this morning. Thanks dallas for not confiming the delivery appt. Actual thanks goes to the receiving clerk who took the time to find the load in their system. 2 of us here to deliver, both with the same loads with the same problem. Now my 14 ran out do to this delay and this burris is so laid back, just back up against the fence and leave when you can. So a big thank you to burris for making my life simple today. Sure hope I can get something for the weekend too.

Well another good Qualcomm day.
Maybe I should put this unit up to the highest bidder.
680 miles and the QC says I still have 3:43 left to run.
That means I averaged 88mph!
Nope, Donna...no compressing. the computer says I'm ok!
Acutally, it kept freezing all day (obviously). I drove from Boise to Burley in 1 1/2 hours.
Don't know why. It just suddenly freezes, then starts up when it feels like it. The funny thing is he 14 & 70 hour clocks are right. The QC has me only driving 489.5 miles.
So accordingly, I must look good on the reports that compliance gets.
Can't figure this thing out. Last week it said I did 662 miles in 10:47...again, impossible.
Ma Quien Sabe, eh?
I miscalculated. Figured I could make Laramine in my 11, but apparently goofed. Should have stopped in Rawlins.
Other than that...been a good day! -
Setting in Kankakee IL, watching the thunderstorms explode. Lots of rain, lightning, and ear cracking thunder....
Short 30 miles to my delivery on sunday afternoon.... Not much of a run for the weekend, and then empty out in danny's area on a sunday afternoon,
Now I did a split sleeper yesterday, so that I could leave Burris, and head up the road to get that nasty trailer washed out. On paper logs, I always had to argue with compliance that I was doing the split correctly, which I knew I was. We always argued over how many hours I had to drive after the 2, that concludes the split... well the Elogs proves me correct, that I did understand the rules correctly.
Donna always insisted that I had to stop after 22 hours after my original clock started... you know the 14 + the 8 sleeper. I always tried to explain the 11 and 14 become sliding windows when splitting...
I picked this load up from a wrecker yard north of Atlanta. Must be a yard for guys to go home. The computer would not accept anything from me about the load, and night dispatch said it was fixed... well it had to be fixed today, to show what trailer and load I was under...
Time to go and grab a bite to eat, since there is a break in the down poors. -
Another good qualcomm day.
Averaged a bit over 680mph for the first part of the day, then got tired and slowed down to a mere 260mph for ts Ihe rest of the day.
Watched the 'blue screen of death' appear serveral times while driving down the road. It rebooted more than 9 times today.
Went back and edited everything and now I think I averaged around 59mph. Still too fast for Donna, but all those red bars will probably distract her anyway.
Only real problem I see now is it says I'm 20 miles SW of Limon, CO.
Funny...could have sworn this was Amarillo.
It did record more than 500 miles today. My speedo says 588. But it recorded most of it as either on duty or off duty.
Learning how to work this edit button pretty good.
If they don't replace this thing when I'm in the yard, I'm going to abandon it and go back to paper.
That should frost their berries!
On to Sulpher Springs tomorrow. Only 420 miles to final. Deliver monday AM. -
also watching the nasty storms roll in on me in morris il the stuff was blowing sideways entering the state near davenport i stayed ahead of it till i refueled and then it caught up to me

First for me yesterday, I got to listen to the same radio station for 400 miles...! lol...
Started in El Paso, to Anthony for repower to Van Horn for repower to head to california and was passed Deming before it went out, lol...
No clue what was going on with first repower but he was a 8 year 3rd lease alliance driver who took a one year lease last time around just so he could buy his truck once it hit 3 years old, only to get woken up Friday night to learn that Stevens sold his truck... Ugh, was a crappy day for him...
