The New FFE Driver Academey

This is should help. I got this from an FFE recruiter.

Everett, if your FFE recruiter has not sent this to you; I would call them back and ask about it. There is a lot of useful info in that file.

You will need:
1) Current driver license.
2) Students from outside of Texas will need their original birth certificate with raised state seal on it.
3) $70 for permit and fees. This must be cash or money order.
4) $20 for cab from bus station to hotel. (the pdf file has the hotel address and name)
5) Original Social Security Card. Must be signed and not laminated.
6) Enough money for for food and necessities to get you through til your first paycheck
7) Green card for non U.S citizens
8) Voided Check for direct depoist
9) Bedding and pillow. (twin sheets and blanket or sleeping bag)
10) 1 week of clothes
11) Hygene stuff
12) CDL Manual, pens, notepad, alarm clock, and sunglasses
13) High School Diploma/GED or transcripits
14) Military only - Your DA Form 348 (Operator Qualification Record) signed by your commander and letter of recommendation from you commander

Number 14 is not listed in the file, but it will help you because you might be able to get a higher starting pay if you have the right stuff on your 348.

well 2 wont make it, then , im home schoo'led and im have a copy of birth cerft with raised seals, lost the org in a house fire , so that leaves me out at ffe too then , miss ya horse girl

 

A copy with the raised seal will work because it is official. I forgot to put that in the previous post. I would talk to the FFE recruiter about the home school thing.

 

The info my recruiter sent me said nothing about high school diploma or GED
