Calex Express....My New Home!

I'm in Carlisle at the Petro watching the Miami Heat on tv while my wife and son are in Miami at the game. Gotta love this job sometimes........Not!

 

I'm empty. Got a door at 6:15 and was done at 7:30. I'm at the truck stop near the receiver and can't leave until 10am because my clock says I'm still tired.

A side note, my wife got home from the Heat game about the same time I got to my reciever. She now has laryngitis from yelling. Maybe I'll have a few days of peace and quiet....lol

 

I'm sitting at the Petro up the street from the terminal. I got back to the yard, dropped my empty, put the truck in for an overdue servicing, then went to see Louie. He asked me if I wanted to go west and I said sure. He just called me to tell me it's going to be one of two loads going to Illinois then reload to the west coast. I know what 2 loads they are. Ones playground equipement and the other is books. I hope it's the books, more miles going up to Kirkwood NY and extra stops. We'll see. Right now I am making a shopping list for a little restocking in the truck. Here's a picture of my idle truck, all washed and ready to go to work.
