Almost done with home time with my girls.
We went to Elitch's yesterday, the Children's Museum and Aquarium today.
Now I'm more than broke.

When I got back to the hotel I had a pplan.
My PTA is set for 6/18 1400, and it picks up 6/18 at 2200.
The text said it had a delivery of 6/20 0900 - nearly 900 miles loaded.
When I get to the QC the delivery time said 'delivery appt not yet set'.

Well, I check out tomorrow at noon. Since I will have been up since 0900 or so there is no way I am going to drive all night.
I had planned on turning down the load with a new ETA about 12 hours later, but since the actual pplan doesn't even have a delivery date/time I am just going to let it sit until tomorrow until I can speak with my DM.

You enjoyed yourself there and you know it. Have you ever seen the band Hell's Belles in concert? If not you should, all female AC/DC tribute band... Smaller venues so better view... I had front row at the old spaghetti factor in Spokane...

 

Off Topic Question: What happened to Mamma Swift? I notice her old posts now say that she's been banned or retired. I thought she'd never quit TTR posting ... what gives? Anyone?

 

Oak Grove, MO. Deliver in the morning in KC, then DH to Wichita, 190 miles. Only took it becasue the freight around here is crap. Deliver to WI on Weds. This will help the week alot. Not much for a decent check, but enough to stay out of the hole.

 

Fred had to t-call his load that was headed to Decatur, AL at the Memphis terminal so that he could have his B service completed. He wound up getting us 3 nights comped at the casino in Tunica. I drove up Friday after work and picked him up at the terminal, and we had the best weekend! Got lucky at the tables and brought a little pocket change home, treated him to a fantastic (although somewhat overpriced) meal for father's day, relaxed in a nice room, and enjoyed each other's company all weekend. I guess absence does make the heart grow fonder.

 

She got into an online kerfuffle with a couple of other gals, which escalated to PO'd-ness when the mods banned her. Then it went to another site which got her permanently banned. She still posts there.
