I think its a fm transmitter. My load to st. louis got cancelled before I even started heading that way. Instead, I bounced to Charlotte to pickup a load of steel headed to fredricks maryland. My intent is to get this thing washed today, as I will be driving right past a wash area. This is a good paying, easy to drive load. However, Im not sure if I can make my 0800 appointment at consignee.

Well all is good here guys. I ended up with not only a couple blown fuses but the Qual went bad on Monday morning also. Since my second stop was Columbia I went over to the terminal. After about three hours there I was told to go to the hotel and come back in the morning. Everything fixed and given more fuses. They even showed me the ones to change if it happens again. I am in a rest area on I95 in Mims, Florida. 33 miles left in the morning to deliver. Everyone have a safe night and God bless!

Good for you Jeff. Im glad to hear it. I like the Gaston terminal. I think the shop guys do good work.
As for my load, Im sitting at a rest area on I77N in Virginia. I have about 51/2 more hours to drive. I qualled night dispatch as soon as I realized I wasnt gonna make on time. He gave me lip. Man, Im so sick of attitudes. Its not my fault I cant make on time. Its not like Im out here friggin around. Just like normal, I get to the shipper early, but by the time I leave the shipper, Im running late. That is definitely something Im gonna bring up at tqm school.

I have quite a few pre hires, but I like tmc before I even started school. So I ask blind and Jeff, you guys still like them. I mean ive read this entire forum start to finish, and dog you are getting kind of pissy. I guess im asking if you had it to do all over again, you would still go TMC???

Well, I hope Im not getting "pissy." You have to understand what I gave up to be out here. Its tough for me to have went from a "master" to a rookie. Im trying to do well. My personality, I want to be the best at whatever it is I do. Im not competitive with other people, only with myself. Would I do it again? The whole truck driving thing? I dont know. Ive heard that the 1st 6 months is the hardest. I dont know if Id do it again.

I've acutually done this before. I went to school 12 yrs ago when I was 21. My daughters mom was freakin out because she never saw me and kind of made me give it up. I've been around it my whole life, and since we split a year ago I have wanted to get back at it . Dog I actually meant would you do TMC again, but you dont k.ow if you would truck period? I hope it gets better bro. I'll tell you I have enjoyed reading your posts. I truly hope it gets better, so you have no regrets. If anything though its a hell of an experience.

Thanks guy. I have faith that it will get better. 10-4 on the wife giving a hard time. Would I do TMC again? YES!!! Despite all, I still think its top notch. My hardest thing is just finding my "groove." Im sure once I get a rhythm going it will go well. Im in my late 40's, so Im kinda set in some of my ways. Im not an animal, therfore Im not gonna live like one on the road. Im hoping school this weekend will help open my eyes as to what it is Im doing so wrong?? Trust me though, I will keep posting.
