What made you guys choose Prime? Whats the starting pay scale? .30? How much are you at after a full year? .36?
-
We chose Prime for the best training pay and solo pay right out of the gate. Does he love the job? Yep. But at the end of the day, it's about sending money home to Momma......uh, ME. Due to family medical issues, we have left Prime for a company that will get him home every couple of weeks, with the opportunity for drive-bys more often than that. You will not find either myself, or JCW saying anything bad about Prime.
Examples of our FM going above and beyond:
1. FarmGirl's bday is Veteran's day. Birthdays are important to us. The FM did her level best to make sure he could see his baby girl, and more importantly she got to see her Daddy on her birthday. He took his 34, and it didn't actually work out quite like we wanted, as Tyson did their level best to keep him in AR. A kind Prime driver who was unloaded, but had to take his 10 switched trailers, and our little girl got to see her Daddy ON her birthday. We did her birthday dinner the next day, but seeing her face light up after thinking she wouldn't be seeing him on her special day made his day. (Did I mention we told her that Tyson were being slow, and we had to change our plans? I gave her the option of waiting for Daddy to have her birthday meal, or having it on her birthday. She chose Daddy. We kept the fact of the trailer switch from her.)
2. Even though he agreed to stay out Xmas, the FM sent him a load that picked up somewhere in TX and went somewhere in IL w/ enough time on it to take the 34 at home. "Go see your kids, Merry Xmas." Yep, Xmas Eve and Xmas w/ the family. Totally unexpected.
3. Home in time to take us all to an out of state gymnastics meet for CityGirl.
4. Home in time to take CityGirl to her State Meet. With enough money in the bank, to go to a special family meal afterwards.
5. There are other things that his FM did to make our lives that much easier to deal with. I really appreciate all of her hard work.Traveler51, tiger 4, Remedy and 2 others Thank this.
