LOL! That reminds me, my hearing is not that good and I have a little trouble understanding the voice sometimes. Do any of you drivers use an external speaker for your TND and if so, can you recommend one? Thanks

I had trouble with female. She sounded all garbled up as if the speaker was bad. Switched to the man's voice and it much clearer. You might try this first.

On the 720 there is a place to enter fuel data. Is there way to get the unit to calculate the fuel mileage and the cost per mile of fuel?

By that, do you mean thru a download of an update to the software in the 720? Or do you mean by purchasing the next model which would a year or so from now?

I never listen to females giving me directions !!!! :)

However, should have listened to my navigator getting in here. 720 was right and I was wrong.... the device had a better map then Google- at least for here.

My TMD 700 has failed. Simple thing really, but it speaks to the quality and reliability of the product. The 0000
ON/OFFbutton fell down into the unit. Since it is a one piece construction there is no way tO fix it.

Other than this, it has been a very reliable product. Please take a moment and tell me why I should shell out $400 on the new 720.

    Thanks

Tried backing up 700 and restoring data to 720 but didnt work also checked out poi factory but they don't seem to have them in the right format, any help in making my own poi's would be appreciated.
