I really dont remember the MAC you send in that lets them know you are available for a load, but the first time and the second time go to your FM, after the 3rd one they start going to the Load Planner, so if you really want to run, keep sending the MAC in. Also on a tip, in your e-mail to them, if you act very nice with starting it out with Good Morning or what ever it maybe and thank you have a nice day it may help you too. It sucks that you have to kiss their butt so you can do your job and help them to move freight.

Layover pay is basically non-existent.....there are qualifying factors that have to be met and they usually aren't...such as no layover pay for Sunday, you can't be under a dispatch even tho you don't pick up until after the weekend.........someone else can probably have better answers, but (IF I remember correctly) that was the policy when I was running with USX.

The only way you get paid for driving home is if you take a load headed that direction.

ATL-1 and Mr. A Thank this.

I always knew when my daytime FM was working because the first message of the day always started "Good Morning"......loved seeing that because then I knew things were going to go good for the day.

At my new company, I actually get messages that start with "Anna"......so nice being called by name and being known as a person instead of a truck. The only time I get asked for my truck number is on nights (even tho we've gotten to know each other pretty well...LOL)

    ATL-1 Thanks this.
