it seems one year @ knight is equal to 20 years of regular trucking due to all the crap they put you through!

Yeah he's still around--just busy as all get up and doesn't have much time to get on line or post!

I'm not saying he's a seasoned pro, but my personal opinion is that if you've been driving safely for a year, you are no longer a rookie. Somewhere in between.

This all depends on your perspective. I wouldn't consider myself seasoned until I hit the 10-20 years. I would say I'm not a stone-cold rookie, but not totally green, either. I know just enough to make myself dangerous!

    Dennis_Miller and Jarhed1964 Thank this.

I think someone once posted some info that showed years 2-6 are more dangerous. Keep up the good work.

I will always be a rookie. I'm always learning new things to do, and learning things not to do. So if you keep your mind open for learning. You will enjoy your trucking career. 14 years later I'm still going down roads I never been down. Still having truck issues I never had b4. But that's what makes this job fun for me. Its like forest gump say's. "you never know what you gona get"
